If you are a member of HSLDA, you may use your membership card as a "Teacher ID" card, and receive discounts at teaching supply and office supply stores.

Attend homeschool used book fairs & curriculum sales; you can get some great bargains, and some people even donate free books.  Also watch for library sales.
